This is strengthened by breastfeeding, exercise, eating healthy food, receiving and giving love etc. What things do you do to help your children stay well & healthy?

“A shocking 24% of women who had had instrumental births said they had not consented to the procedure.” I had an un-consented episiotomy with my 3rd baby (it’s important to note that none of the doulas, midwives, or registrar who were all amazing & supportive saw the scissor welding OB appear out of nowhere…). Yes it was necessary, but would it have really changed the outcome taking 2 sec to say “This needs to happen, ok?”… physically no, but emotionally yes! What helped you feel respected during your birth?
